Hello Again

So long, no post. Sorry I haven't really posted in so long. Things are pretty hectic in my life now. Cody is a dream, really. He is the happiest little guy and doesn't really fuss very often. He doesn't care if his diaper is wet or not and he loves everyone. However, mommy (yep, that would be me) has had him sleeping with her from the very beginning, holds him all the time and pretty much lets him rule her. Now mommy is trying to get Boogie to sleep in his crib (baby steps, baby steps) & is trying to make him see that playing with toys without mommy right there is just as fun as when mommy is there. Like I said, he is an amazing little boy and is happy 99.9% of the time. Mommy is the one that is having the problems. I still want to hold him and play with him all the time. BUT my house, pets & husband really need my attention as well. So, mommy & Cody are trying to learn this new way of life, lol. We shall see how that goes.... Also, my sister in law gave birth to my newest nephew on 2/4/10 his name is Michael and he weighed 7lb 14oz and is absolutely beautiful. Bug looks like a giant next to him though :O) Cody says "mama" "ba-ba" (for bottle) "no" and babbles all the time. I just don't understand the rest of what he says. He is very, very vocal. Takes after his daddy :O) He stands up and holds onto things, he pushes himself around when laying on his belly and can roll over multiple times in a row (making mommy & daddy's bed dangerous for him now) He has been drooling buckets of slobber since he was 3 months old, but doesn't have any teeth yet. He isn't interested in crawling yet either. I am starting to wonder if he is going to walk before he crawls. He has been sitting up since he was about 5 1/2 months old and loves to "bouncy bounce" in his jumperoo. He also loves to "bouncy bounce" when standing up- have to be sure that you have a good hold on him when he starts his bouncing. He is learning to be gentle to the dogs & cats. He grabs their fur like he grabs every one's hair. He even grabs daddy's goatee hair and pulls it. We just release his grip and tell him no and that it hurts- he will usually laugh. :O) He hates baby cereal- doesn't matter what I add to it- he won't eat it. He loves sweet potatoes, peas, sweet potatoes & turkey, apples & chicken, applesauce, bananas, carrots & sweet corn casserole. He tolerates other baby foods, the the previous are the ones that I know that he will eat. His favorite food is sweet potatoes though- nothing beats them. Will post more pictures in a couple of days. If you are on face book you can send me a friend request my name is "Christy Crowder Faglie" or leave your name on here and I can send you one. I can post tons of pictures there at one time- so I have hundreds of pictures there if you would like to see them.
