Cami Now

The top two pictures of after surgery, then a picture of my handsome little man, then the last two pictures are of my sweet little Sissy the morning before trach surgery.

I want to thank all of you for your continued prayers for our family. Your prayers have helped our family in so many ways. My daughter is alive and well thanks to Jesus listening to all of your prayers. Sissy was in a lot of pain last night and so far today. She is on Fent*anyl and Ver*sed. Fent*anyl for pain and Ver*sed for sedation. She is requiring a lot of both of them to help her, it is because she was on both of them for so long while there so it is requiring the use of more than before. My heart is broken for my daughter. The game plan is to let this heal up a bit and then go in and try to widen her airway since with the trach she will have a way to breathe. Just keep her in your prayers please.
Please keep my son in your prayers as well because he is not getting much "mommy" time lately because my parents have been keeping him a lot so that I can spend time with Cami. Thank all of you for your donations as well- it is really helping me to get through each day knowing that more money is coming in and hopefully we can keep our home. If any of you have any experience with working with trachs- please email me christyfaglie@yahoo.com because I don't have any knowledge of them. She has a "shiley" trach if that helps.

  1. I am still praying! So glad to hear positive updates, and if you ever need to vent...you just go ahead and do it!

I have followed this blog, and I believe the little boy Kaden--has a trach. So they might be of some resource to you.

  2. Sending up constant prayers for Cami and your entire family. Special prayers and love to your sweet boy as he struggles to understand why mommy can't be with him right now.

Also, the respiratory therapists at the hospital should be able to be a great asset to you in training you to care for her trach.

I also wanted to let you know I will be emailing you shortly about a blog button that Jessica put out a request for. So if you get a "strange" email, it's me!

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers constantly. Praying for God's strength, mercy, and grace to touch your family during this horrific time.

  5. I am so sorry for all that you're going through, it's just not fair that children should ever have to go through such pain. I will keep your sweet little Camryn and Cody in my prayers, may God grant you a miracle!
